Updating your payment method is simple—the process depends on the payment platform you initially used.
On iOS
- Open the Settings app
- Tap your name at the top, then select 'Payment & Shipping'
- Choose your current payment method to update it, or tap 'Add Payment Method'
- Follow the steps to save your changes
On Android
For members with Android devices, in-app purchases must be made via Google Play, in line with the Google Payment Policy. Therefore, you need to link your preferred payment method with Google Play and use it to purchase Badoo services:
- Open the Google Play Store
- Tap your profile icon in the top right
- Select 'Payments & subscriptions' > 'Payment methods'
- Update an existing option, or tap 'Add payment method'
If you’d like to pay with Paypal or a credit card without linking them with your Google account, you should use Badoo Web instead (instructions below).
On web
- Go to Badoo.com and log in
- Open your profile and go to 'Settings'
- Scroll to 'Payment settings'
- Update or add a new card or 'PayPal account'
Things to keep in mind:
- Updating your payment method only affects future payments—it won’t change charges that have already been billed
- Your payment currency is set by your device location and your App Store or Play Store account settings
