Here’s how to keep your subscription running smoothly or make changes whenever you need.
How to subscribe
- Open your profile tab (bottom right corner)
- Under ‘Plans’, choose either ‘Get Extra’ or ‘Get Premium’
- Follow the on-screen instructions, choose your preferred payment method, and complete your purchase
Checking your subscription
To see your plan, renewal date, or payment method:
- Open Badoo
- Tap your profile → Settings → Payment & Subscriptions
Upgrading your current subscription
To upgrade your subscription plan:
- Open Badoo and tap the Profile icon
- If you already have an active Badoo Extra subscription, you’ll see a banner inviting you to upgrade to Premium
- Follow the steps in-app to complete your upgrade

Updating your payment details
You can manage payments through the store where you first subscribed:
- iPhone: Settings → Your name → Subscriptions
- Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions
- Web: Badoo.com → Settings → Payment & Subscriptions

Things to know
- Your subscription will renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- You can use your active subscription across devices as long as you’re logged into the same Badoo account.
- If you subscribed through Google Play, you might notice a small preauthorization charge before your renewal date. Don’t worry, this is just Google's way of making sure there are enough funds in your account for the upcoming payment
- Only purchases made through the Apple App Store can be restored automatically from an old account to a new one. You may need to contact Support for subscriptions purchased with other payment methods, e.g. credit card or Android.
- If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or via SMS payment, deleting your account won't automatically cancel your subscription. Apple App Store subscriptions must be cancelled directly through the App Store, and SMS payment subscriptions are managed by your mobile operator and can't be cancelled by Badoo.
