Discover is your gateway to exploring more people on Badoo. It’s where you can browse profiles, see who’s nearby, and find someone who catches your eye—all at your own pace.
How it works:
- Tap the Discover icon at the bottom of your screen
- Browse profiles that match your preferences in the ‘Everyone’ tab
- Select a profile to view more photos and learn more about them
- Show interest or start a conversation:
- Tap the heart icon to show someone you’re interested
- Tap the speech bubble icon to start chatting instantly. You’ll need to be verified and have Credits to unlock this feature.
- If the heart icon isn’t visible, it means you don’t meet that member’s search criteria
- If you both say yes, it’s a match!
Using For You:
For You is where we collect a selection of people that we think you might like
- Scroll through suggestions: Browse through the profiles we recommend.
- Like or Message: Tap the heart icon to like them or use Credits to chat right away.
Tips for getting the most out of Discover:
- Complete your profile: Add photos and a short bio to attract better matches.
- Check your preferences: Update your age range, distance, and gender filters at any time to refine your search.
- Stay open: The more flexible your settings, the more people you’ll discover.
- Rise up: Move to the top of Discover and get seen by more people around you.
Why am I unable to select a location I used before?
We’re always working to provide our members the best experience possible on Badoo. If you’re unable to select a location you previously used, it may be because our service is no longer available there. We know this can be frustrating, and we appreciate your understanding. To keep using the app, you’ll just need to update your location and choose from the available options.
