Badoo is all about real people and real connections. Verification helps prevent fake profiles and gives others confidence that they’re chatting with a genuine person. When your photos are verified, other members will see a blue checkmark on your profile.
How do I photo verify?
Show potential matches you’re the real deal by photo verifying. It’ll give them confidence that you’re the same great person IRL as you are in your profile photos.
- To verify your profile, tap on ‘Profile’ in the bottom right corner of the app
- You’ll see a prompt to verify under your profile picture, or you can tap your picture, select ‘Edit’, and scroll to ‘Get verified'
- Take a selfie copying the gesture from the example photo
We’ll then use a mix of automated and human review to make sure your selfie matches the photos in your profile. Within a few minutes, we’ll let you know if your verification is confirmed or if it wasn’t accepted.
