If you’ve found what you’re looking for or just need a break, you can delete your Badoo profile at any time.
Here’s how to do it, depending on your device:
Badoo app
- Open your 'Profile'
- Tap the gear icon to open your 'Settings'
- Tap on 'Account'
- Tap 'Delete account' at the bottom of the screen
If you'd like to hide your account instead (like you've deleted it, but have the option to come back anytime):
- Open your 'Profile'
- Tap the gear icon to open your 'Settings'
- Tap on the toggle next to 'Hide account'

1. Open your 'Profile'
2. Click on the gear icon to go to 'Settings'
3. Click 'Delete account' at the very bottom of the screen
If you're using the Badoo website and don't see the 'Delete account' option, your email address may not have been confirmed yet. You'll need to verify it before deleting your profile.
We’ll send you a new verification link by email within a few minutes—just follow the instructions in that message (and don’t forget to check your junk or spam folders).
Things to note before you go:
- Subscriptions may not cancel automatically. If you’re subscribed to Badoo Premium or Extra, be sure to cancel this first.
- If you have trouble deleting your account using the steps above, our team is here to help. Just contact us and let us know that you want your account to be deleted. Our team will verify your identity to confirm you are the account owner.

Recovering your account
If you change your mind, you have 28 days from the date you deleted your account to get it back. During this time, your profile and data are temporarily stored but hidden from other users.
Just contact our Support team, and we’ll help you reactivate your profile so you can pick up right where you left off.
