Your experience on Badoo should feel comfortable, safe, and in your control. That's why Badoo allows you to control your experience within the safety section. Here, you can review and adjust key settings that shape how you connect with others.
Where to find it:
Open your profile page and tap the Safety tab
Tap 'Control your experience'
From here, you can choose who’s able to send you messages to help you decide how open you’d like your conversations to be:
Everyone – Any member on Badoo can message you
People I’ve liked – Only members you’ve liked can message you
You can also show when you’re online:
Yes – Other members can see when you’re online
No – Your online status will be hidden
Please note: If you choose No, you won’t be able to see when other members are online either.
What happens next?
Once you’ve made your selections, you’ll see a confirmation that you’re all set.
From there, you can choose to:
'Start Swiping' and continue meeting new people, or
'Go to Settings' to explore and adjust other preferences
You can revisit 'Control your experience' at any time to update your preferences.
