Uploading profile photos and videos

Your photos are the first thing people see, so choosing the right ones can make a big difference! Here are some photo tips to help you stand out and attract genuine matches. 

• Use clear, high-quality photos: Aim for bright, well-lit photos where your face is clearly visible. You want people to see you for who you really are, so avoid heavy filters or overly edited pics.
• Show off what makes you, you: Choose photos or videos that highlight different aspects of who you are:
  • A hobby (hiking, painting, cooking)
  • A social moment with friends
  • A pet (if it's yours!)
  • Travel or adventure pics

• You'll need to add at least 2 photos: You can upload up to 6 photos or videos, but quality matters! 4-6 work best
• A small Badoo watermark will appear in the top right corner of your photos. This confirms they were uploaded on the Badoo platform, helping to ensure security and authenticity.

Things to note: 

• You can upload JPG or PNG photos up to 128 MB, and ideally, they should be 1024 x 1024 pixels.
• Our 'Smart Photo' feature automatically uses your best-performing picture as the first picture on your profile. There is currently no opt-out on this feature. 
• Photos may take a moment to appear. Once uploaded, your photos may go through a quick review before appearing on your profile. This helps us keep Badoo a safe and genuine space for everyone.

To add photos and videos on the Badoo app (iOS or Android): 

1. Open the profile tab 
2. Select ‘Edit profile’ (pencil icon in the top right corner)
3. Tap the plus icon (+) to add up to 6 photos or videos that reflect who you really are

To delete a photo:

1. Tap on the photo or video you’d like to delete 
2. Tap the three dots in the bottom right corner
3. Tap ‘Delete’ and then ‘Delete photo/video’

To add photos and videos on the web: 

1. Click on the profile icon
2. Select the Edit Profile pencil icon
3. Scroll to the Photos section
4. Click the plus icon (+) or ‘Add Photos and videos’ button
5. Choose a photo from your computer and upload it 

To delete a photo:

1. Click on the photo or video you’d like to delete 
2. Click the three dots in the bottom right corner
3. Click ‘Delete’ and then ‘Yes’
